Story:
VV Vinayak has chosen a story that worked well with him and others in past and mixed it well with Flavors of Comedy/One Liners,and also with energy boosters like Hero Elevations Scenes from time to time and has given Full Meals for Fans.
Cherry is a Software Engineer,and Bramhandadam is his Uncle who gets into trouble with Jaya Prakash Reddy & Rahul Dev(Local Settlement goons),Ram Charan loves Kajal Agrawal(sister of Rahul Dev) and She Returns her love,Rahul Dev and Jaya Prakash Reddy want to kill Cherry,only to find him killing a DGP,In Between CBI is looking for a serial murderer of top Designations,Siddarth Naayak the original Culprit is actually the Leader of Kolkatta,who fight against crimes & Illegal Activities of Prakhar Rawat,The rest of the story is how cherry helps Siddarth Naayak in elminating Prakhar Rawat.
Performances:
Ram Charan has given a Matured Performance,His Comic timing has improved a Lot,His Dances are great asusual,he looks handsome and sports a well toned body and Naayak looks like a Tailor made movie for him.
Kajal Agrawal didn’t have much space in the movie but,she had her presence felt,Looks glamorous at songs,Amla Paul was Gorgeous but her acting skill stay dumb,yet its ok as they dint have any scope for the movie.Charmi was for a Item Song,she was good but lacked the oomph factor.
Brahmandam has steeled the show,though he looks very old in the movie,with a good energy he did fine with expressions and one liners,He even Danced to ‘Enduko Emo’ from Rangam,he has a meaty role in the movie.
Posani Murali Krishna is one of the main highlights of the movie,His Punches with good fill of Philosophy and sad facts of our Country and Politics blended well,I Love You Raja
Jaya Prakash Reddy is One Hell of a man,his slang has caught the cord with the Audience and VV Vinayak has used him to his max,he has more than a Dozen Entertaining Punches every time he is on screen.
MS Narayana as a Drunkard CBI officer was good and fun to watch for,he had good one liners here and there
Rahul Dev has little or nothing to do,it was good to see Rajeev Kanwal after a Long time,Surekha Vani was good and gave a good emotional touch to the pace at much required time,Venu Madhav was ok as Pawan Kalyans Fans President & Amla Paul Stalker,Dev Gill was ok except his man boobs dominating his performance,Padeep Rawat was too good,Tanikila Bharini as Judge did fine.
Technical Aspects:
Songs were well shot and Well picturized,Chota K Naidu did his best as usual,The songs were too good Onscreen rather than what we find it in the Audio,it gets almost 10 times better,but SS Thaman diss-pointed us with a Bad BGM,V V Vinayak has done a Great Job as a Director,though he took many scenes and plots from popular hits which include some of him,he added flavor too them,In Naayak we see shades of Simhadri,Shivaji,Adhurs,Krishna and Even Stalin but we cant complain as we deserve to watch these as we AP Audience have never accepted a Critically Acclaimed Movie over the Years
Analysis:
Naayak is a Sure shot sankranthi winner without a doubt,The Movie has everything to watch for,Action,Dances,Music,Comedy and good dose of emotional Scenes(not a overdose,which makes it good) and Glam-our Factor with actresses like Kajal Agrawal and Amla Paul also references of Pawan Kalyan here and there has made fans hooting and clapping deafening the eardrums.
The Main Positives are Dialogues(literally from every one),hero elevating scenes,Romantic scenes and Bramhandam being corned at tight situations is fun to watch anytime again and again,loved Posani as Kolkattha Criminal, MS Narayana as Drunkard CBI officer and coming to Songs,Dewana the leaked song had terrific dances by Ram Charan,Subhalekha Rasukuna Song can bring repeats with Ram Charan ,dancing with Chiru grace and Amla Paul Sensuous body movements though,also the movie has good entertaining scenes which may pull the audience back to the theaters,Families can watch it without a Hesitation for the season,the only big-flaw is that the film turns predictable after interval bang,and a rather below satisfactory routine Climax(similar to that of Adhurs) and also a bit lengthy movie for the present generation movie goers.
